Great food. Butter chicken with Garlic Nun is the best combination here. Appetizers are also mouth-watering.

Solid north indian food in Los Gatos! I came by after a friend recommended it, and they had outdoor and indoor seating. It's not a huge place, but enough for multiple parties to sit down comfortably. The waiters were very knowledgeable and helpful, giving as recommendations as well. I got a mango lassi to start, and it's okay not great. A bit too watered down and lassi dominant than the tartness you get from Alphonso mango. The paneer Tikka was nice and different, not overly spiced but good as an appetizer, with the sauces being really nice and pairing well. They had a mint chutney, tamarind, and a mango which had a nice kick. The onion kulcha was on the bland side, but was soft and chewy. They mentioned that it would be spiced, but they could have spiced it more. The Malai kofta was good, as I ordered it spicy so it wasn't sweet dominant. The kofta balls themselves were okay and felt a bit dense, but the gravy was flavorful. They have so much rice, and it was nice basmati rice that was powdery and firm. Overall there aren't many north indian places in the bay area now that offer no frills and solid taste, but glad to come across one that hits the spot!

I thought the Los Gatos location was a 3.5-star restaurant but my husband really liked his food, so I settled on a 4-star rating for this review. We ate there one recent evening, and I was immediately put off by how frickin' cold it was indoors! There's no two-door entryway--as soon as somebody enters or leaves via the restaurant's single front door, a gust of cold air rushes inside these teensy restaurant. And the door seemed to get stuck in a partially open position sometimes which made things worse. We started our meal by splitting a single order of Gobi Manchurian, which we've eaten many times before. I thought the crust was overly thick, the sauce a bit bland, and the cauliflower not even tastable. I ordered Achori Tandoori Vegetable for my entree. The quantity was quite good--the leftovers were plenty for my next day's lunch. The vegetables were good but were so adulterated before they were cooked that the three accompanying sauces were totally superfluous. Even without any sauce, these vegetables seemed to come on a little stronger than I was expecting. The kheer was fine but not special, and the chai (which I consider the most important component of an Indian meal!) was lacking in dairy and tasted like it had too much pepper or cloves. Overall, the naan was the best of the items I ate--super fresh and tasty. The service was the bright spot at this place--quite exemplary!

After so many years of namaste and trying Indian places all over the bay namaste is still my hands down favorite. Why ? The food is consistently good. The flavors are remarkably fresh. The service is good on a busy day and great on a normal days. What amazes me is the staff. Many years of coming here and the staff knows us. Very little noticeable turnover. The chef is consistently great. We ended up moving to Los Gatos and I am now about a mile away. It's our go to place for great food.

Came here on a Monday night for a small date night with my girlfriend & we enjoyed every dish that we ordered: Kadhai Bhindi, Lemongrass Chicken Curry, Raita, and a Pesto Cilantro Naan (rice was included for every dish by the way ) Staff were also extremely welcoming and were on standby if you had any questions about the menu. Highly recommend coming here if you're craving Indian food in the area

We were the only ones here for lunch in the middle of the week. The place was nice and staff were friendly. The large butter chicken was very good and the lunch plate was very filling.

I've been here twice. Vegan options. My daughter had the Tofu Matter & ate every last bite. The Naan isn't vegan which is a huge bummer but there is a wheat bread (Roti?). I loved my chicken Tikka Masala. Also, my other daughter went here last weekend & the server was kind enough to get her some ice (she had burned her ankle on her boyfriend's classic car). Service is top notch! Just an FYI, lots of kids in outside patio & running around & parents not watching. Luckily we were able to avoid that haha. Parents please don't allow your kids to do that, it's dangerous, and yes I'm a parent too lol.

Exceptional service, the server checked in on us quite often checking for anything we needed. I got the Butter Chicken, and although I haven't had much Indian food before, this was so far my best Butter Chicken ever! Coming again for sure!

This has to be one of the best indian food I have had in the Bay Area and believe me I have tried a lot. Came here kind of unplanned and it was awesome to see all the good reviews and ratings lived up to their expectations. It's a small space inside but lot of options outside for seating. Definitely it can be packed during warmer days with the outdoor seating. We got lucky as we came at the time when only couple tables were occupied inside. Within a few mins all the rest of the tables got filled inside as well. We ordered the Tandoori non veg platter, Shaahi Paneer, garlic naan, Fried rice (for my kid) and ras malai. The Tandoori platter is one of the best I have ever had. All the meats were cooked to perfection. Nothing was too chewy or overcooked or dry. Everything was tender and had the perfect texture and blended well with the flavors. Honestly I was very satisfied with this and wasn't too indulgent with the paneer :), but my husband loved the paneer as well. We finally ended with some Ras Malai and it was delicious and creamy and completed the meal very well. This is our new favorite indian restaurant and I am already spreading the word.
